The daily coronavirus cases in Russia on Saturday remained below 7,000 for the second day in a row.

Over the past day, 6,852 new cases were confirmed in the country, taking the country’s tally to 627,646, the emergency task force said in a daily report.

More than 9.81 million cases have been reported worldwide, while over 4.95 million patients have recovered so far, according to figures compiled by the US’ Johns Hopkins University.
